Our General Philosophy
We run small-group experiences that depend on local guides, boats, vans, and sometimes weather that refuses to cooperate. We try to be as fair and transparent as possible when plans change, whether it’s you or the typhoon that forces the change.
Full Refund Situations
You receive 100% of what you paid automatically if we have to cancel the entire day for any reason outside your control. This includes severe weather warnings that make the activity unsafe, government restrictions, sudden vehicle breakdown, or the rare case when a guide falls seriously ill. As soon as we make the call, we process the refund the same day, no questions asked.
Standard Cancellation by You
If you cancel more than 48 hours before the scheduled start time, you get a full refund minus only the small payment-processing fee that the card company never gives back (usually 3–4%). Between 48 and 24 hours before the start, we return 50% because by then guides have turned down other work and some costs are already locked in. Within 24 hours we unfortunately cannot offer a refund, the spots are too small and last-minute changes hurt the local teams we work with.
Date Changes Instead of Cancellation
Need to move your booking to another day? Just let us know at least 24 hours ahead and we’ll shift you to any available date within the next six months at no extra cost, as long as the new date has space. This is usually the happiest solution for everyone.
Partial Participation or Early Departure
Once the experience has started, we cannot refund any portion if you decide to leave early or skip certain parts for personal reasons. The price covers the full planning and operation, not per-hour attendance.
Force Majeure
Natural disasters, sudden government orders, airline strikes, or anything else classified as force majeure that prevents either side from fulfilling the day will always result in a full refund or a free reschedule, whichever you prefer.
How Refunds Are Processed
All refunds go back to the original payment method. Card payments usually appear within 3–7 business days, PayPal is faster. We never hold money longer than necessary and you will always receive a confirmation email the moment the refund is sent.
Non-Refundable Cases
Third-party tickets purchased on your behalf (ferry tickets, theme-park entries, etc.) follow the cancellation rules of those providers and may not be refundable even if the rest of the day is. We always warn you clearly before you confirm any booking that contains such items.
